Arrow the cat is believed to be about five years old was found near a mall in northern Virginia near death. When taken into veterinary care, it was discovered he suffered about sixty-six shots with pellets from either a BB gun or shot gun and was blind in one eye. His other eye was badly damaged and had to be removed. X-rays presented evidence of horrifying abuse. It was just luck that his insides weren't too badly injured for the cat to survive.
Animal welfare stated that “We personally have never seen an animal filled with buckshot.” Arrow suffered great abuse and through it all, he is still described as very sweet to humans, even though some humans fatally abused him. A spokesperson stated that he is recuperating very well. "He purrs, he cuddles, he's sweet, he looks great, he's friendly, he's not angry at people, which is shocking because if that were to happen to any of us, we wouldn't want to be around people.”

Arlington, Virginia Law Enforcers and Animal Control Officials – Please do not stop until you find the person(s) who brutally abused Arrow the cat. Someone like this should not get away with such a brutal crime that will most definitely escalate to other animals, children and humans. Someone like this needs to be caught and taken off the streets; slapped with the harshest punishment possible by law. Someone has to know something through “bragging” by this monster or seeing something that could lead to an arrest. Gain justice for this poor sweet animal and continue your investigation until an arrest and prosecution.
