Welfare reform

These are to many woman who are out there abusing the system and having kids and expecting us the tax payers who are working so hard to support our own families an a lot of us live check to check making minimum wage and barely making enough and being able to make ends meet and are basically being forced to support these woman and their children when the majority of them have a man in the home.

Congress needs to finally take a stand and make changes and strictor guideline towards the welfare because a lot of these woman this is learned behavior from generation after generation in their families that have lived on and raised their kids in the system and unless we break this cycle it will just continue and I know myself that I have no children I don't want to be supporting somebody else's kids, and it's time that we say no more and make it harder for these woman to obtain assistance and to stop abusing the tax payers and the welfare system. Welfare was designed as a temporary assistance program to help single mothers maintain a household but not for these woman to continue having kids and basically making a career of it just to receive free money while the majority of them have a man in the home. There needs to be stronger rules set forth regarding what benefits they are actually entitled to receive if any and not the whole nine just cause they are there but we need to have more restrictions and penalties attached with stronger punishment for those that continue to abuse the system.

Example: These woman should only be able to receive assistance for the kids not for themselves. There should be rules regarding when they get approved if they have 1 child and within the next few months become pregnant and request benefits for an additional child that should be an immediate Red Flag. It should be like it use to be if you have another child you will not be compensated for an additional child and they should for no reason be any accepting to the rule and do not allow an increase in benefits for any additional children the same should apply if they have a third or fourth child I don't mean to sound harsh or heartless but it's about time that we stand up for ourselves because if we are the ones supporting these woman children then we should have a voice and if they continue to have more children then that is a Red Flag to me that they are a career baby breeder to get free money. There should be a strict time limit set In place when they apply for assistance of no more then 6 mos of benefits with no acceptions not even if the mother is in school because they receive financial assistance from these colleges or trade schools and they can go after their kids fathers and get child support from them who laid down with these woman and created those kids. During that 6 mos period these woman should be required to maintain gainful employment of no less then 40 hrs per week, upon completions of their 90 days probation period their cash and medical portion of the benefit should be terminated, if they fail to comply and maintain a job their benefits should be terminated within 30 days of applying for assistance and they will not be able to re-apply for a year, if after a year they re-apply there should be a detailed back ground check as to their finances for the past year of both them and the father or fathers of their children before being approved for any form of assistance at which time all the rules should still apply. There should no longer be free daycare services these women should be held accountable for paying a portion as the same with the food stamps. When they file taxes they should be required to provide their tax returns on a yearly review as to who claimed these children and they should be required to pay back a portion because to the system because us the tax payers who have been providing the majority of support for these women and children for many years do not receive any benefits or tax cuts on our taxes and neither should they, they should be held responsible.

Thank you to those that will review my petition and hopefully agree with this reform and will sign it.
