Ask Fort Lauderdale to Install Permanent LGBTQ Rainbow and Trans Pride Crosswalks!

As the result of recent Care2 petitions, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta are getting rainbow and transgender pride crosswalks to honor the LGBTQ community.

Let's make this happen in Fort Lauderdale! We have a borough called Wilton Manors that is the second gayest city in the US  Our Pride celebration draws in 40,000 people a year from all over the state.

I live just north of Fort Lauderdale and as part of the LGBTQ community, I am accutely aware that LGBTQ individuals face housing discrimination, medical gatekeeping, and disproportionately higher rates of homicide and suicide. Let's show this community that we see them, we care, and we want to honor them.
