I am asking everyone to sign this petition due to the article in the Valley News Dispatch yesterday Wednesday 7-29-2015, that states fishing is prohibited from the new dock open this June 2015 on the Allegheny River in Freeport, PA (16229.) I have personally fished from the dock many time as well as the river bank there before it was put in. The dock is over 400 feet of perimeter including both sides and both ends. I have fished on it since it was built. Now all of a sudden it is going to be posted NO FISHING. Now I have lost all that dock space to fish from as well as all the bank that it has taken up. I know the PA Fish and Boat Commission laws stating when fishing from a dock anglers must give way to boaters. which I do respect and do every time in fishing.
