Safety Issues and The Restoration of One's Employment!

Their was a serious incident that occurred that involved two(2) of our FedEx teammates on October 13, 2018 between then hours 7am-7:30am cst.

The incident,itself, has alerted,us, as teammates and valuable assets to this company to come together and develop our own "Plan of Action," when it comes to Workplace Violence, Security, Workplace behavior and most importantly, OUR SAFETY. Our Plan of Action consist of:
1. Make sure the SAFETY of teammates are a First Priority. Safety First
2. Make sure that All security staff are trained to respond immediately to incidents involving violence and/or violent behavior in the Workplace..
3. Make sure that security systems(cameras, videos, badges, and computer databases are properly functioning thru a bi-monthly security checks and observations.
4. Make sure All teammates,(management, staff, teammates, etc) are properly trained to respond correctly when identifying directly and indirect ly a workplace violence incident.
5. Make sure that their is at least one Certified and well trained and arm security person is on-duty during 3rd Shift hours.
6. Make sure that their are at least one security person is walking the floor at all times. Important: "Response time" is equally and the most important. Responding to any incident(accidents,verbal and physical altercations) can minimize serious injuries including fatalities.
7. Make sure security systems such as a metal detector in installed for all teammates are all can be subjected to search and seizure of all illegal drugs and weapons.

8. Make sure All Shifts periodically participate in Fire, Natural Disaster, and Workplace violence training videos and drills.

9. Make sure All teammates read,  sign and submit documents related to "Respecting teammates' race, sex, color, creed, sexual orientation, religious background and disabilities."

10. Make sure All Teammates are aware of Escape routes and/or safety zones in case of All Emergency situations. Escape Maps must be drawn up in instructive language which are visible for All teammates can locate throughout the facility. 

11. Most importantly, Re-establish the Safety Committee. 8 member staff on all shifts. Their job duties and responsilities are periodically educate all teammates on matters involving SAFETY. To make sure teammates read, sign and submit documents involving Workplace Violence set forth on FedEx Supply Chain Teammate Handbook U.S. Version-September 24, 2018,(pp 18-19).

Our Last Request:
We as teammates would like to request that the (2) teammates, and was involved in the incident on October 13, 2018, that their Employment Only be Restored only if majority of teammates on 3rd Shift agree and sign their names in support of this documented petition and both individuals involved and FedEx Human Resources Department also sign off in agreement to proposed punishment for their misjudgment of character. All is Null in Void if the majority of teammates on 3rd shift and both parties mentioned and involved will not agree on all parts of documented Petition.
Majority of teammates and both parties and FedEx Human Resources Department must agree upon our requested revised and implementation our Plan of  Action requested and restoration of employment thru fair punishment and resolutions:
1. (2) weeks unpaid suspension based upon those conditions set forth above.
2. Both parties agree to participate in FedEx,Inc.'s RESPECT Program (Resolving Employee Situations and Problems Encourages Company-wide Trust). FedEx Supply Chain Teammate Handbook: (pp.32) U.S. Version September 24, 2018.
