Help save the animals in Pollywood Pets

We purchased a puppy from Pollywood Pets on March 4, 2012. He was a cute little mix of Shitzu and Border Collie. After paying for our puppy, we took him to the vet to make sure everything was okay with him. The vet had said that everything looked good with the puppy "so far". After bringing the puppy home, he was very playful and you would have never guessed anything was wrong with him. Three days later, he started showing signs of sickness. We rushed him to the vet and they diagnosed him with Parvo, a highly contagious disease. The vet stated that many puppies have pulled through this disease. We hospitalized our puppy for almost a week. There was no hope for him, and we had to put him to sleep. When I contacted Shelly Myers, owner of Pollywood Pets, she stated that she has had Parvo in her facility before. When I questioned her statement, she stated that she never said that and preceded to not know what I was talking about. The total cost of the puppy was $499, and our vet bill came to a minimum of $1,500, after putting the puppy to sleep. I have contacted Gibraltar Trade Center, the Humane Society, and an attorney, still pending. Has anyone else ever experienced this with any of their animals they have purchased here between the dates of October, 2011 through March 4, 2012? If so, please let me know.     Dr4Wilcox@yahoo.com
