Why should SSI stop for people who are mentally challenged and the elderly?

This is *NOT* a report from any media outlet! This is directly from the Congressional Budget Office! Congress is actually entertaining this as a money saving option!

"This option would eliminate SSI benefits for disabled children. ... One rationale for this option is that providing SSI benefits to children may discourage their parents from working. ... Another rationale for this option is that, rather than provide a cash benefit to parents without ensuring that they spend the money on their disabled children, policymakers could choose to support those children in other ways. ... A rationale against this option is that this program serves a disadvantaged group."

I do not collect Social Security Income due to my husband making too much money, but those who do I have your back. Barely averaging $600:per month to get the bills paid is not making America great again. Starting October 2017 S.C congressman including  Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham "South Carolina represent! ", quote from the film "Idiocracy" ! to finally start cutting funds yearly from your own budgets and let see if Congree can do what would change. You are allowing to suffer see how you pay your bills and take care of your special needs child/children, the elderly and so many more. If you could imagine how much you are making millions of people suffer for greed.
