Commit to Adopt, Not Shop!

So many animals need loving homes. Yet, so many people choose to be super particular about having a pure-bred animal as their fur baby. The problem is that if folks only want pure-bred, there are many mutts who won't have a home. Also, supporting pure-breds supports a breeding industry that can be cruel and inhumane. 

We need to spread the message to pet owners: Commit to Adopt not Shop!

There are many advantages to adopting an animal instead of shopping for one. One is that mutts tend to be healthier and live longer since they don't necessarily have the common health problems that inbreeding can cause. Adopting a mutt also means adopting an animal that may or may not find a home otherwise. 

I personally own a mutt, her name is Sophia and she spent the first 7 years of her life having babies to be sold. I found her at a no-kill shelter and bringing her into my home has been the most amazing journey. I love her so much and she is so grateful for how much I spoil her.
