Save Military Children From Abuse!

Hundreds of children in military families are sexually abused every year, and male enlisted military personnel are the most frequent perpetrators. The problem is compounded by a lack of transparency in reporting. A Department of Defense report on the subject refuses to identify ages, locations, or even the branch of the military that is implicated.

The US military needs to come clean about its abused children. Please join me in asking that the United States Defense Department's Family Advocacy Program track judicial proceedings related to sexual abuse of military children and disclose relevant information to the public.

To the United States Defense Department's Family Advocacy Program:

We the undersigned are concerned about the recent Department of Defense report on abuse of military children. It appears that hundreds of children in military families experience sexual abuse. But the military is not keeping the public informed about the extent of the problem or where and by whom these heinous acts are committed. We believe that public awareness is key to lowering the number of injured children. Please track judicial proceedings related to sexual abuse of military children and disclose relevant information to the public.
