This petition suggests the end to legal fireworks inside the city limits to include sales. It has become a nuisance in my neighborhood, as well as others, to hear the BOOM of fireworks several days before and after the 4th of July. It terrifies dogs as well as their owners. It deeply upsets ALL people, including the military who fought for our freedoms and are stricken with PTSD. People who light fireworks are taking a chance with their lives and those of the people around them to include their neighbors, due the fact that we are living at a time when one spark could take down an entire block in a matter of minutes. We do not want to live that way. Fireworks are dangerous and unnecessary to the well-being of life in Albuquerque. Please join us by signing and putting an end to this once and for all.
