For many years student have suffered from the 'always' changing educational structure and system in New York as well as many other states. Students are faced daily with the struggles of an unreasonable amount of testing as well as yearly changes in curriculum.
This causes many problems for students in the learning environment because they cannot learn certain material when the structure of learning is constantly changing from year to year.
With the introduction of programs such as Common Core and many others, the majority of students are no longer enthusiastic about learning and do not enjoy school. Hence they can easily become victim to anxiety and depression as well as many other mental disorders that are constantly over looked and not taken into consideration by the schools.
By signing this petition, you clarify that you support the rights of the students of New York; and want to put an immediate end to New York's constantly changing structure within schools.
