Change Beacon Lakes' HOA documents to allow pets.

It would:




      • enable BL owners to have certain pets & define what pets are permitted.

      • define pet owners' responsibilities & consequences of non-compliance to pet ownership rules.

      • open our condo sales market more widely to welcome and encourage condo buyers (those with a pet)

      • identify and legitimize those owners currently "illegally" sheltering pets & acknowledge pet ownership does exist in Beacon Lakes despite the current no pet policy. 

      • be good for the physical/emotional health of the pet owner.

      • permit owners' visitors to visit with their pets.  

      • contribute to a harmonious environment

Dear Reader:  We seek to change the current no-pet policy in Beacon Lakes. Many owners do shelter pets in contravention to the policy, an indication that many disagree with it, and are willing to risk the consequences. This petition seeks to amend the pet policy to define what pets can be permitted, define the consequences & responsibilities of ownership and foster a more harmonious relationship between all owners.
