Tell the NBA to Ban Donald Sterling From Playoff Games

The NBA must ban Donald Sterling, the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, from playoff games in the wake of reports of his disturbingly racist comments to his girlfriend, V. Stiviano:

"You can sleep with [black people], you can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games."

"Don't put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don't bring him to my games."

"Don't bring black people, and don't come."

Sterling made these statements while talking to V. after she had posted a picture of herself with Magic Johnson on Instagram. Sterling criticized V. for posting the photo and then got into a full-on argument with her in which he made the racist comments about black players on the team and about black people in general.

Sterling's comments were a truly disgusting display of racism and cannot be tolerated. Tell the NBA to ban Sterling from playoff games and demand he face the league's maximum penalty.
