CIVIL Governance: Independence Day #2: Free Yourself from Toxic Politics

Tell Washington you are sick and tired of toxic politics and you 'aren't going to take it anymore.’ The polls tell us that we don't like what is going on in Washington. Over the last ten years, two-thirds of voters think we are going the wrong direction. Over 50% believe neither party represents them – 69 million citizens. Eighty percent of Americans do not trust our government. Worse, 70 million registered voters didn’t vote in 2016 and another 35 million didn’t even register. Conservatively, 174 million people have doubts about our political leaders. Tell them you are tired of the big money, the influence peddling, the complexity and expense of government, the politicization of everything. and the inability of our political parties to debate our nation’s biggest problems.
