(Warning: Disturbing content relating to animal cruelty).
I have just watched a video about a dog who was rescued from basically hell in our world. The dog, named Connor, was rescued as part of a rescue mission that rescued a thousand animals from a farm in Florida that abused animals horrendously, forcing them to fight, slaughtering them and even sending them off to be used in black magic rituals.
Connor is now a service dog and is (hopefully) well-cared for and well-loved. This should not be allowedto happen again. We kindly ask that the governments of the world:
* Ban any/all bloodsports in the countries.
* Impose stronger (but still fair and reasonably compassionate) laws against those who are unnecessarily cruel to animals.
* Ban all unnecessary hunting and trapping.
* Ban all unnecessary slaughter.
* Give Government funding to animal charities.
* Educate people about the ample scientific proof of animal sentience, kindness towards animals and how to look after animals properly.
* Use a system/systems that include vaccinations, health checks, spaying/neutering, care* (feeding, health care, preventions, etc.) for homeless domestic animals and any wild animals that are deemed to cause "problems" (e.g rats, foxes, pigeons, seagulls, grey squirrels and deer) as opposed to unnecessary cruelty and killing.
Far too much unnecessary violence towards animals happens. We all need to act now to help stop unnecessary violence towards animals and save animals.
