In 1998 Marc Cerasini wrote 5 Godzilla novles which were published by Random House. However only 4 out of the 5 books came out. The 5th and final book was nevere rleseased due to the disapointing Tri-Star's Godzilla remake making people lose intereste and thus a drop in sells. Random House never renewed their liscense with Toho.
Godzilla fans were let down as they never got the final book and never got closer to an awesome series as well as never got to know what the new monster in the book was.
However now people are getting interested in Godzilla again thanks to Legendary Pictures's Godzilla reboot. Now is the prefect time for Random House to cahs in by renweing their liscence with Toho, republish Mar Cerasini's Godzilla novel and release the final book, Godzilla and The Lost Continent.
