Oppose Restrictions Regarding Adult Access To Vapor Products

The state of Texas Legislature is proposing legislation that will limited adult access to vapor products by raising the legal purchasing age to 21. Sign this petition to oppose these bills and those like them in the state of Texas.

Dear Members of the 85th Legislature,


 


As a concerned citizen of Texas, I am strongly opposed to proposed legislation raising the legal age to purchase vapor products from 18 to 21. These products have helped countless individuals, providing a harm reduction alternative [for those trying to stop smoking,] and have even been recognized in a recent study by the College of Royal Physicians to be at least 95% less harmful than tobacco products. I believe limiting access and criminalizing these harm reduction alternatives adults of legal age would be counterproductive to the needs and welfare of your constituents.
