SET SUPREME COURT ETHICS RULES - NOW!

  • by: Mark Hein
  • recipient: US Senators and Representatives

For 221 years, Americans have trusted Supreme Court justices to follow the judicial profession's ethical standards.

But some current justices blatantly refuse to do so.  They participate publicly in political campaigns and on corporate boards, and then sit in judgment on cases involving the very groups and individuals they have publicy supported.

It's time for Congress to act -- to set legal limits holding Supreme Court justices to the same standard as all other federal judges.

At last, a "Supreme Court Ethics Bill" has been introduced by four members of Congress.  Tell your Senators and your Congressional representative that you want them to make it law.

To the Honorable members of the US Senate and House of Representatives:

A "Supreme Court Ethics Bill" has been introduced by Senators Murphy,  Blumenthal and Whitehouse, and Representative Slaughter.  We, the undersigned, want you to help make it law.
