Challenge WHSmith's Marketing Code of Practice on Shooting Magazines

I have become increasingly distressed at the pictures and information that accompany the shooting and "country" magazines that are for sale in WHSmith, so I wrote to them about it.
I received a reply from them stating that their objective is to offer customers choice without acting as a censor for what's on sale. They went on to say that all magazines that they sell follow the standards as set out by their marketing code of practice!
Not a moralistic enough answer for me and so I believe their code of practice is wrong for these reasons; the shooting magazines contain all sorts of ways of inflicting abhorrent cruelty on to wildlife. From snaring, shooting, trapping and all sorts of brutal and sadistic abuse of animals, they give tips on how best to kill deer, rabbits, birds, foxes and every other kind of wild animal that has the misfortune of being hunted by these barbaric people.
I think it is unacceptable and irresponsible of WHSmith to, indirectly, support the abuse of our beloved wildlife by allowing the "glamourization of guns" magazines to be sold in the first place.
Please sign my petition if you feel the same and support wildlife.
