2014 Olympics - Stand Against Russia's Anti-Gay Laws and Condemn Brutal Repression

The Olympics are about bringing people of all colors, creeds, and nationalities together to compete peacefully.

Except, in 2014, if you are gay.

Just a year before its welcomes the world, Russia has decided to pass and enforce some of the most stringent, anti-LGBT in the world. As Gay Marriage becomes a right in France, Spain, and parts of the United States, in Russia, it is now illegal to be openly gay.

This is not the meaning of the Olympics.

That is why I am calling on all athletes, spectators, and sponsors to condemn Russia’s anti-gay agenda.

Openly LGBT people will not be safe during the 2014 Olympic games. Russia has conducted violent crackdowns on gay rights rallies and has been arresting members of the LGBT community.

This is the time to put pressure on Russia - sign this petition to call on all sponsors, athletes, and Governments to condemn Russia’s anti-LGBT laws and pressure the Russian Government to rescind those laws before the Sochi Olympics begin, and, if they don’t, to consider a Boycott of the Olympics.
