Stop funding these cruel experiments at University of Wisconsin-Madison
Just yesturday I found out that the University was doing research on live animals. In the studies, cats are deafened and have steel coils inplanted in their eyes, holes drilled into their skulls, and electrodes implanted in their brains. This type of action must be stopped I have seen the picture's and every time that I look at them makes me wanna cry.
I was disgusted to learn that the National Institutes of Health has given more than $3 million to a series of cruel experiments on cats at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW). In the studies, cats are deafened and have steel coils implanted in their eyes, holes drilled into their skulls, and electrodes implanted in their brains. I urge your agency to end its financial support of these cruel experiments at UW and divert funding toward modern, non-animal research methods.
