There is a new Casino in Russia’s Primorye Region called the "Tigre de Cristal" Because the Russian economy in this Region is so bad the aim is to bring money to the Region with this new Casino. This Casino came up with this idea to have a live Tiger Mascot for entertainment purposes, so a 5-month old Siberian Tiger Cub (The Amur Tiger) was bought, then she was moved 4,850 miles from a zoo in the Ural Mountains after being bought for £4,500 by the Casino (about $5,000 in American money).
The Cub was brought to the Tigre de Cristal to entice and attract gamblers and tourists from Asia. Having a monopoly on gaming in the Russian Far East, they plan on attracting not only Chinese and Russian tourists, but also Korean and Japanese ones too. At the 'soft' opening ceremony in November they paraded this endangered Siberian Tiger Cub that they had named Crystal, she was Bleary-eyed and dazed, heavily sedated to make sure she would not bite anybody, then she was paraded in front of gamblers to mark the opening using this Tiger Cub for entertaining the Gamblers and Tourists in this Casino, Crystal was the star attraction of the opening ceremony, she must have been terrified under the bright lights and blaring music.
When this hit the news and papers, the people in this Region were not happy, the people in this Region care deeply and are devoted to protecting the Amur Tigers being they are extremely endangered and are indigenous to the Sikhote Alin mountain region in southwest Primorye Province. Due to this outrage the Police are investigating the treatment of the tiger. The purpose of this petition is to give people in that area as well as around the world the opportunity to voice their feelings on using this poor baby Tiger as entertainment and a marketing tool to build their business. This petition will be sent to the The Russian Government , the Prime Minister, and both big backing Investors Melco Crown Entertainment, & G1 Entertainment. With the hopes that they will all see what a horrible idea this is and although I’m sure no harm was intended this is animal abuse and Crystal needs to be put in a Sanctuary. So please sign & share

Цель этой петиции, чтобы показать вам, как много людей не довольны с использованием кристалла под угрозой исчезновения амурского тигренка в качестве маркетингового инструмента для привлечения людей к Тигре де Cristal казино, и, чтобы развлечь игроков и туристов, что покровительствовать казино , Я уверен, что все ваши намерения сделать это тигренок в Талисман вашего казино пришли от хорошего места, я уверен, что никто не намеревался на ней злоупотреблении. Это намерение этой петиции, чтобы обратиться к вашей лучшего суждения и делать правильные вещи ней, которые бы выпустить ее в святилище, чтобы она могла жить своей жизни путь Тигр должен. Dear Prime Minister Дмитрий Медведев, & Sirs,
The purpose of this petition is to show you how many people are not happy with the using of Crystal the endangered Amur Tiger Cub as a marketing tool to attract people to the Tigre de Cristal Casino, and to entertain the gamblers and tourists that patronize the Casino. I am sure that all of your intentions of making this Tiger Cub into your Casino’s Mascot came from a good place, I’m sure no one intended on abusing her. It is the intention of this petition to appeal to your better judgement and do the right thing by her which would be to release her to a Sanctuary so she can live out her life the way a Tiger should. You can’t assume this kind of life would be good for her or any wild animal for that matter to be drugged and forced to walk around under those bright lights, loud music, and the noise of all those people, you have to be honest and admit that this isn’t a good situation for her to be in, the commotion of a Casino is no place for any animal. I am sure another idea for attracting customers to the Casino could be thought of. Thank You,
