#LaughingWhileBlack: Tell Napa Valley Wine Train To Apologize for Humiliating These Women!

A group of 11 black women were escorted off of the Napa Valley Wine Train, which was taking them on a wine tour, after a white woman complained they were laughing loudly. One of the women was 80 years old, and all were members of a book club. After they exited the train they were met by a group of police officers.

After this unprecedented humiliation, someone from the company posted an account of the incident on Facebook.

“Following verbal and physical abuse toward other guests and staff, it was necessary to get our police involved,” the since-deleted post reads in part, which Johnson captured in a screen grab and re-posted to Facebook. “Many groups come on board and celebrate. When those celebrations impact our other guests, we do intervene.”

Would these women have been treated differently if they were not black?

Tell the Napa Valley Wine Train that it shouldn't treat ANY customers this way and to issue a formal apology to these women.
