Stop Forcing California National Guard Soldiers to repay their enlistment bonuses

Stop the Pentagon from taking back reenlistment bonuses from California Army National Guard veterans.

They signed, they served, and in many cases they were injured or killed in action in Afghanistan and Iraq. It's outrageous that a decade later they are now being hit up by federal debt collectors. Nearly 10,000 California National Guard veterans are being pursued by the military to return reenlistment bonuses, many well over $15,000. For more information, read this story.

This is a violation of contract, unfair and downright un-American. Sign my petition and urge the President and the Department of Defense to forgive these debts immediately!
