There's a new initiative from the Ottawa Film Office for a soundstage campus and creative hub to be built in Ottawa which Mercury Filmworks supports!
The National Capital Commission (NCC) recently announced details regarding a public consultation to be held on September 5, 2018. The consultation is to obtain feedback on a proposed change that would allow the Ottawa Film Office and its industry partner, TriBro Studios, to build a soundstage campus and creative hub at the Greenbelt Research Farm. This key piece of infrastructure in the local film and TV ecosystem will help to attract large-scale productions to the region, creating and sustaining hundreds of jobs and investing over $80 million in the local economy in the first few years of operation.

- Share the public consultation details with your colleagues and network, and encourage others to attend on September 5;
- Starting September 5, submit a letter of support on the NCC's website (or email your letter to the Ottawa Film Office).
