To Commisioner Alicia Aguilar,
We are residents of El Cerro mission. We are requesting to better our "park" next to the community center. We also want a soccer field and a track. I have done some research and found out Los Lunas has a population of about 15,300. That of which El Cerro mission has 4,600 as of 2000 census. I believe our population has increased in 16 years. This is one-third of Los Lunas population. Hispanics make up 72% of this population. We were told that the money from the antenna provided from t-mobile was going to go toward the building of a sign in the park. None of this has happened. Could it be because of the residents that make up this community. In a town meeting several years ago we were told we would get a sign at the community center to let people know of upcoming events. This sign has not been placed.I don't believe asking for a park is too much to ask for for this amount of people.
We hope to hear from you soon,
