The is a normal family wanting a chance to stay in Canada
Since this story has come out we have found out that there are thousand of families in similar situations
All these families would like is a chance to stay in Canada, a bridging visa was introduced in Feb 2015 it said it would help the families that had to leave in April and waiting for their ANIP to be processed
3 issues with this visa
1. You had to apply for ANIP before 1st July
2. The date is before the real panic started and most applications are after that date
3. There is a 15 month waiting list from Sept 2014

I have an email stating from ANIP saying they have processed 670 application this year and there are over 9700 in the waiting list. Only 5500 can only process this year!

The panic started after the 1st July as that is when the changes set in especially the 4 year rule, so most of applicant's will go home before their application is looked at including the Caborn's
So as you can see this Visa has not helped the majority of the people in the list.
Also to add to it, it doesn't matter where you are in the list and they don't go in order they received it, its by job requirement.

So I am asking for this bridging visa to be extended for at least 6 months until 31st Dec 2014 hopefully longer to the processing timeline, then this will give people in the waiting list a chance for their application to be look at and even given a chance to have a life in Canada, at the moment most people will be leaving before this happens like the Caborn's.

This Petition was started as there are still a number of Temporary workers who are being force home due to the delays in applying for PR, A bridging Visa was introduced but you had to apply before 1st July 2014 this date is before the rush really came into effect.

If the date was extend to cover the delay period at least people would have a chance for their application to be looked at.
