HELP STOP the killing of the protected Canada Geese in Denver Colorado

There is a crime being committed here in Denver Colorado by the Denver Parks and Recreation. They are KILLING hundreds of Canadian Geese, a bird protected under the Migratory Bird Act. The protected Canadian Geese need your help in protecting them against Denver Parks and Recreation who are illegally murdering these protected birds. Denver Parks and Recreation is currently rounding up Canadian Geese, a bird protected under the Migratory Bird Act, and slaughtering them because they make too much poop. These birds are molting and cannot fly to safety which is why they are doing it this time of year. Denver Parks and Recreation say they are all being processed and fed to indigent populations. Remember, about half of all good food is thrown away at restaurants and stores. This is NOT about feeding people. It is about slaughtering a beautiful bird and trying to justify that slaughter with a feel-good story.
We must act on this. They are rounding up these geese and killing them daily.
Write Scott Gilmore and tell him to STOP THE INSANITY! This is wrong on so many levels and our voices must be raised in defense of these beautiful Canadian Geese!

Now the Mayor of Denver is in on it. Justifying their murdering thousands of geese yet he protects thousands of illegals living in Denver. Their are more of a human threat then these geese ever were. There's no evidence that anyone was infected by bacteria from the geese poop. To the Mayor and other who live in Denver they were a mere nuisance but you can't legally kill geese if they are just a nuisance so they created this whole POSSIBLE infected bacteria thing. Have the illegals scooping poop.

Canada geese can't fly this time of year due to their molting process,which involves growing new feathers for the fall.They just picked them up,put them in crates as they were screaming,and just drove off. A permit obtained by FOX31 says trapping requires a direct threat to human safety,that trapping can not be used "for situations in which migratory birds are merely causing a nuisance."There are people who's jobs it is to protect these birds in Colorado yet they are allowing this to happen.

If you haven't signed yet maybe this information will make you made enough to sign & help stop the killing of hundred of protected Canadian Geese.
City Park was quiet, too quiet.
“It’s like a morgue. It’s empty,”said Linda Gallegos, 56. There was no flapping of wings, no hissing, and no Canada geese during her evening walk Monday.
Hours earlier, federal crews had herded hundreds of the birds out of the crown-jewel park and on toward their doom. The ones who job it is to protect them is in on too

This has been shared on the Wildlands Defense page as well as Twitter & Instagram. It has reached people though out the world and they are continuing to share as well. The people in Canada are very upset that their protected bird is being slaughtered and that the ones who are suppose to protect them are allowing this to happen. The fight continues. There is another petition out there helping to gather enough signatures to stop this. Hopefully between the two the rest of these birds can be saved.
