American citizen's and Worker's in the United States need to be made aware of the corruption within local and state governments and that elected and/or appointed individuals in these offices or one's that hold a position that pass ruling against injured workers are in fact being controlled by the insurance company's that the worker's have a claim against.
After months of research the conclusion is there is no watchdog group to question the courts actions nor are there any worker's advocacy groups protecting their rights. Yet each individual case may be stalled in court for years by countless appeals and endless litigation by legal counsel regardless of the individual's health.
I was injured in August of 2011 while working part time for a large corporation. I went to a chiropractor and was advised to file a claim with N.Y.S. Worker's Compensation. After harrassing phone calls from the insurance company I was forced to seek a lawyer for protection.
I have been examined by 5 neurosurgeons and a neurologist which all stated I'm in dire need of back surgery over 2 1/2 years ago. During this time I was also forced to return to work with a deteriorating injury which left me unable to walk, sit, stand or sleep for any length of time. In April of 2015 I developed a blood clot in both my leg and lung from being inactive and immobile all the result of my back injury.
Yet the courts allow the insurance company's file appeal after appeal regardless of the failing health of the worker. During my endless fight against the insurance company and the State of New York I now know I'm not alone and that other people have the same fight and are near death all because of corruption in state goverment.
I urge you for your support in my battle to fight against the very same people we vote into office.
