Demand equal rights for your child

The Mornington Peninsula shire has changed registration for 3 year old kindergarten meaning many kids born just after the 1st of February are being left unable to enrol their child until after all other children have been placed and until they turn 3. Meaning they do not get to do orientation nor are the families able to make long term plans regarding their child.
Why should our children suffer being born after February 1st but within school cut off.
We need to demand this be changed and our children given the same rights as all other children.
We shouldn't suffer simply because we are in the mornington peninsula shire and not just one shire over in Casey where you can apply and get accepted into kinder for 2018 now.
