A request to the SCDOT for a new traffic signal in our area. With the current growth in the Richburg area a new traffic signal is definitely needed! With Giti Tire and Sunfiber company at Hwy 9 and Lyle rd the traffic is greater than ever at that intersection. Also with Carolina Poly, PPG, and other industries down highway 9 the traffic of 18 wheelers and other vehicles have to pass through this area to get to I-77. With accidents and even fatalities at this same intersection it only increases the reason for action! With request from county officials being denied this is a request from the citizens of Chester County. Don't let another wreck or fatality be the reason to finally take action!
