Don't remove/kill the beach dogs in Sosua, Dominican Republic

  • by: Saskia Marc

Those poor defenceless dogs don't deserve to be killed just because they live on the beach. The beach is their habitat. Those dogs do not harm anybody, they are kind, gentle and friendly. Most of the tourists like the fact that there are some dogs on Sosua Beach. If the Ministry of Tourism thinks that killing those dogs will bring more tourists, they are wrong! I think it is also important that everyone understands these dogs are healthy, spayed, neutered, vaccinated and treated monthly for parasites. As there are no controls on roaming dogs here in Sosua, once the dogs are removed/killed new dogs will take their place BUT they will not be healthy. Please sign my petition so that those poor dogs will not get killed. Thank you.
