Read any comment section on any article on the Daily mail and the chances are it is completely tearing apart the person who is being written about. Body shaming, racism, homophobia, sexualising, disecting and slandering people's every part (women, children and men). What a pointless negative space on the internet encouraging bullying and giving people an unneeded space to attack others. I noticed they often publish articles branding people bullies yet they welcome the public to do the same in their comment section without monitoring. Examples of some comments I saw written about a 17 year old pop star 'she looks like a man and fat legs, good pair though ' 'obviously loves herself and would love my rock hard piece' 'slag.' This is some of the nicer comments, and comments which all of our children can read. It may seem silly and pointless to you even to sign this petition but it's a step in the right way for making the internet a more kind space with less bullies.
