Keep a Bank In Belleek

It is vital to the village of Belleek that the Bank of Ireland remain open and available to service businesses and the wider community. Our village relies heavily on the banking services already provided and whilst it has already cut its face to face service to three days per week it will be a devasting blow to the community if the doors of the bank of Ireland close. the elderly, those who are without personal transport, small businesses are going to incur a great deal of inconvenience and cost if this action is taken. The village of belleek is a significant economic contributor to the county of fermanagh, it is located on the border and services euro as well as sterling business. to think that we are facing a future with no bank is devasting for so many. big corporates place no value on community, they make decisions based on figures and the human value is negated. We need to fight this decision of closure and ensure we maintain a level of banking facilities in the area.
