Dissolve the neocolonial Nigerian State Now And The Killings and Imposed Poverty Will Stop!

The Nigerian State is an artificial and criminal state designed and imposed to permanently divide and stagnate the Afrikans in that strategic part of Afrika. The British forceful amalgamation of the ideologically and spiritually dis-similar Southern Protectorate and the Northern Protectorate in 1914 and named "Nigeria" after the Niger River without consultation and approval of the people so merged and named is gross violation of fundamental human right: specifically, the right to self determination and association enshrined in the UN Charter and various national constitutions including Nigeria.

This forced and unwarranted merger has denied the people forcefully called "Nigerians" eternal and stable peace, harmony, integration and ultimately collective economic and political growth. The result is that the Nigerian state is always distracted by enthroned sectarian and ethnic clashes and feud culminating in loss of lives in millions since the Nigerian state came into being as an "independent state" from the British in October 1st 1960. These clashes underlies the deep-seated differences with no real remedial solutions by the Nigerian state since the Nigerian elite feel obligated to the preservation of the Nigerian state as part of the decolonization pact entered with the British.

The objective of the petition is to achieve liberation and freedom for the Afrikans addressed as "Nigerians" to ultimately decide how they wish to live and be governed without let or hinderance or interference by local or foreign interest. It is a fact that present Nigeria is an arrangement between the conquering British government and the ethnic Hausa-Fulani whom the British cut all political corners to enthrone and empower in return for accessibility and pillaging of vast Nigerian natural wealth largely concentrated in Southern Nigeria whom the British had (and continues to have) great phobia and trepidation against. This arrangement and design therefore makes the Nigerian state a neocolonial entity, still dependent and controlled by Britain and her allies. This is not in consonance with the reality of an independence state. The people neither control their natural resources nor political leadership and policies therefrom. The failure by the Nigerian state to heed to the peoples' agitation for self-determination is the inspiration for the petition. The Nigerian state must be compelled by the world to allow the people under its occupation freedom via a referendum to determine their fate and destiny.

As a so-called Nigerian, I fully connect with the frustrations, deprivations, humiliation and indignity of living in a forcefully remodeled society without consultation and consent as a result of conquest; with history and oral accounts clearly unambiguous over our specific roots and background as organic people and societies brutally severed and remodeled by colonization. It is a matter of humanity, right, and pride that we reserve the right to restore our pre-colonial societies should we so wish as free and unshackled people. Denial of such right underlies our bondage and internal colonization which is inconsistent with universal laws and international law.
