Please sign and share to get these city workers in Kansas City fired from their jobs for tossing deceased dogs in trash bags along the side of the road rather than bring them to the crematorium as they were directed.

Kansas City, Missouri offers a free service to their residents when their dogs pass on. After a dog is deceased, the owner can simply dial the city’s 311 action line and they will come to pick up your beloved pet, which will then be cremated. The owners of these five dogs in question called as required, the dogs were picked up but instead of bringing the remains to the crematorium, these city workers simply placed them in trash bags and through them along the road in an area near 5800 Northeast Oak Ridge. The road is not far from Interstate 35 near Timber Ridge Park.

Animal control sought special investigators to look into this situation and the report shows that owners did the right thing; they call to have their deceased dogs pick up and taken for cremation but these two men picked them up but never delivered them to be cremated. This is not only morbid and disrespectful to the animals and the owners, but it is also a public health hazard. These awful monsters with no heart give other Public Workers a bad name.

Public Works, Chris Hernandez said City Manager Troy Schulte – These guys who were so disrespectful as to toss the five deceased dogs (that we know of) in trash bags and on the side of the road rather than to the crematorium need to be severely punished for their actions. This is not only morbid and disrespectful to the animals and the owners, but it is also a public health hazard. These two men should be fired from their positions; they not only bring down the name of the public works department but the entire city!
