Ending Homelessness in Northern Ireland

Everyone has a right to a home. Yet every year around 20,000 families and individuals declare themselves homeless in Northern Ireland.

Many face a long stay in overcrowded hostel conditions, often far away from friends and family. They often lack money, internet access and meaningful activities to help alleviate the stress.

The problem isn't inevitable - it's one that we can solve. The Homeless Action Charter outlines four steps the Northern Ireland Executive can take to start doing that today.

Dear Minister for Social Development,

We believe that all people experiencing homeless should be considered as priority.

We ask you to support the Homeless Action Charter and lead the implementation of its four simple steps towards ending homelessness.
