We are appalled that Los Angeles would not only reduce the sentence of Cynthia Victoria Gudger, 58, a habitual law breaker since 1993 and felony convicted animal abuser, they would ignore complaints of smells of what appeared to be sick and even dead animals, coming from her section 8 Venice Beach apartment in November of 2013...she should be on probation for horrific treatment towards animals until 2015 but judge Patricia Schnegg reduced Gudgers probation in 2012 to time served - freeing Gudger to again hoard animals-and that is exactly what she did because in the latter part of November of 2013-a PI videotaped Gudger and what we have recently learned to be maybe (?) a good rescue who were duped (?) by Gudger, removing cages of cats from her apartment in anticipation of a raid...a neighbor of Gudgers also witnessed this chaos...

WHO IS CYNTHIA GUDGER? she is a career criminal and a savvy con artist (identity theft, social security fraud, burglary, perjury, threatening to kill a Judge and living as a fugitive)...Gudger is also a felony convicted animal abuser who is again, in 2014, in trouble with the law (perjury and hoarding cats)...In 2008, Gudger was arrested after animal control officers in Kern County raided a home she was renting and discovered Gudger living in “deplorable” conditions with 15 sick dogs, 37 sick cats and 14 animal corpses. Kern County Senior Animal Control Officer Steve Eirich said that the case was one of the five worst in his 17-year career and described piles of discarded animal food cans two feet deep and feces-covered rooms buried in refuse. What he didn't know when Gudger was first arrested was the fact she was a fugitive from Riverside County for animal cruelty...

Two years prior (2006) in Riverside County, Gudger's rented house was raided and authorities rescued 15 sick dogs, 23 sick cats and several cages of mice...the house was filled with trash and feces and the floor was soaked in urine. The animals were infested with cockroaches and fleas and covered in dried feces. Animals were tied to cupboards so tight they could not move...there were dogs living in carriers so full of feces and cockroaches that they could not stand up. There were two dogs fighting over a dead cat...The animals were suffering from malnutrition, starvation and untreated diseases...Gudger was convicted of felony animal cruelty in both counties in 2010...here is the most recent news story http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news%2Flocal%2Flos_angeles&id=9412616

Stop allowing Cynthia Gudger from making a mockery out of our justice system...jail time and banned from ever owning or caring for animals should be this 20 plus years felon's sentence!!!!!

Cages of cats were removed from her section 8 apartment in Nov 2013 in anticipation of a raid :(
