Demand Kingsport NOT be taken out of Deannexation Bill!
Attention All Sullivan County Residents....the Deannexation Bill in Nashville has just been given the concideration to not include any cities where the city operates its own school system! This is a direct target to have Kingsport residents not be able to petition for Deannexation if it's residents would like to! Let's not wait to react! Sign this petition now!
We strongly oppose for the City of Kingsport to be taken out of the Deannexation Bill! The recommendation to remove the city of Kingsport does not represent majority of citizens! The Kingsport City School system is unable to accommodate the amenity of annexation as is, due to most Kingsport schools are over 100% capacity WITHOUT the annexed students who choose to continue to go to the county education system.
