Demand harsher punishment for animal cruelty and neglect in Ky. and adopt a "NO" chain law!
With thousands of animals on chains in this state and half the time without food, water or adequate shelter, many are suffering and dying and we are sitting by and watching it happen. They live day after day without human contact in most cases and this is no life for an animal. I'm ashamed sometimes to say I live in a state that has so little regard for the well being of our animals.
To whom it may concern: Please accept this petition in the matter of animal cruelty and neglect in our great state of Kentucky. We are concerned citizens that want to see harsher punishment given to those who are causing such suffering among our animals. Chains are not meant to be used on animals, and without any human contact, these animals wither and die. Has our humanity disappeared? Have we forgotten what compassion is? I think we can solve this issue with support from our legislators in Frnakfort. Let's not forget our friends and companions. Help us, help animals....
