Demand that the First Amendment be respected.

If we get a lot of signatures, it will be a clear signal that this is an important issue to a lot of people.

Prayers before City Council and other legislative branches of the government should NOT give the impression that the government is promoting one religion over another.

Here is the First Amendment to the Constituion:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

By my signature, I am asking legislative branches of the government to respect the establishment clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Prayers before City Council and other legislative branches of the government should NOT give the impression that the government is promoting one religion over another.
