Overturn recent abortion expansion laws

We, the undersigned, stand in firm opposition to the recently-enacted, and so called “Reproductive Health Act” which expands abortion law in New York State. This new law:
• Legalized late-term abortions of fully-formed infants in the womb;
• Expanded the pool of practitioners allowed to perform abortions;
• Removed legal protections for babies who survive abortion; and
• Decriminalized acts of violence that intentionally target an unborn child.
A baby is created at the moment of conception by determining the baby's sex (male or female only), as well as hair and eye color at that instant.
This act endangers the health of women not only physically but emotionally as well. An abortion affects a woman for many years to come, after the procedure. No one forewarns a woman of all emotional and physical ramifications that occur for years after their procedure.
This act also treats unborn children as disposable objects- not human beings, and responsibilities they became. Before this new law, if a pregnant woman is murdered- along with her unborn child- the person who committed this horrible crime would be charged with two murders- that of the mother and her unborn child. Signing this new law has all but legalized murder, as well as creating a double standard in our state.
This is not a way to protect a woman, but rather a method of padding the pockets of your left leaning constituents, who choose not to take responsibility for their actions, but rather buy an alternative method of sanctioning irresponsibility, and murder.
To even think that you would expand the law to allow a full term baby to be killed is beyond all human or moral reasoning. This newly enacted law does not represent the direction in which our state should be headed. Therefore, we, the undersigned, call upon you and the New York State Legislature to repeal this law in its entirety immediately.
