On Mother's Day, May 8th 2016, Samyra Jade Oakley(age 4) was taken from this world in a tragic car accident.
32 year old Thomas Steyer was driving erratically in the wrong lane, well over the speed limit. He is a known substance abuser, and also has a long history of driving dangerously on this road. He has been found 100% at fault our district attorney has not found him of an criminal charges but only 11 traffic violations.
We are seeking Justice for Samyra Jade Oakley. While the Oakley family mourns that fact that they will never feel or hear their daughter's sweet voice, or her warmest hugs, or her "I love you"s, her killer walks, drives ,and continues daily life as though he's done nothing wrong. Her killer should be charged with vehicular manslaughter.
