#RiseUp Don't Let Rapists Get Away with Sexual Assaults on Campus

One in five women attending college is the victim of a sexual assault. The prevalence of these campus crimes warranted President Barack Obama to institute new rules requiring schools to more adequately address charges pressed against students.

Now, Betsy DeVos has announced that she intends to overhaul Obama's rules to make them more fair to students accused of sexual assault. Given that her boss is a known groper and she's met with men's right activists on this issue, we have every reason to believe that the final rules will not be favorable to students who have been sexually assaulted.

Before the new policy is finalized, we implore DeVos to continue to compel universities to provide justice to victims of sexual assault. Ignoring the problem and allowing assaulters to remain on campus perpetuates rape culture.
