END INTERNATIONAL SLAVERY NOW!!

Slavery has been around since the beginning of time. However, it did not always involve the abuse of human rights. Slavery had been abolished on the books in many nations but even in these nations it still happens. Human trafficking, especially sex trafficking has become a lucrative business in which people are abused and exploited. People are often kidnapped, deceived, or sold into slavery. Victims are children, teens, and adults-male and female. Those in charge often force them to do tasks that they otherwise would not do for no pay and provide them with horrible living conditions and beatings and/or other severe inhumane punishments for whatever they may feel is an act of non-compliance. These victims are often denied basic human rights such as enough food and water and decent shelter, medical care, and eduation. Their lives are in danger every moment of every day. This act needs to be abolished worldwide and the victims should be rescued and given therapy and basic living needs and the means to become self sufficient. There should be special programs for each age group of victims. This has to end-people cannot continue to suffer the abuse and degradation of human tarfficking.

Dear President Obama:

I am submitting this petition urging you to take action to end international slavery. This is a human rights violation of the most degrading nature and it needs to stop. We are urging you to work with the United Nations and all other foriegn relations to put a stop to this practice and have stiffer penalties and randoms raids to put a stop to it in the United States. This has to come to an end world wide and there need to programs to help the victims get the healing they need and get where they need to be in life. Please take action on this urgent petition. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Shuntae King
