Ban Private Fireworks in the UK

Private fireworks should be banned, because:

they are explosives and as such should not be handled by anybody just for the sake of 'big bangs'
each years serious accidents happen
be democratic: not everybody like fireworks, in fact many children are frighten by them
they last too long and are too big
the authorities turn the back to policing fireworks
anybody can hold a fireworks party any day, any month without warning their neighbours
how would you like to be a bird in a tree while down there people throwing fire at you?

Please help us in keeping elerly people, children and our pets safe, Ban Private Fireworks. Fireworks are explosive and should not be handled by 'anybody', 'everybody', they should be reserved for well organised groups where medical attention can be given.
