FishHawk Blvd Needs a Wildlife Crossing Sign!

Please sign this petition in support of adding a Wildlife Crossing warning sign on FishHawk Blvd. Not only are we surrounded by lush habitat and conservation area but we have a large abundance of animals crossing this road at any given time. In the last year several species including; Sandhill Cranes, Deer, Coyotes, Foxes, Boar, Armadillos, Raccoons, Opossums and Gopher Tortoises have been hit and killed on this road. A sign would remind motorists to slow down, drive cautiously and be aware of the potential of crossing animals. In turn, this would also benefit several species of special concern to the state and maximize awareness.
