Stop Old Dogs And Cats Getting Dumped in Shelters. Stand by your old Dog or Cat till the end by law!

Dear Friends,
Please read my petition taking all matters into consideration. I will highlight some of the issues brought up by a reader I Feel I have covered. However might not be prominent to get my true meaning across.
I frequently see wee old dogs and cats given into high Kill Shelters. This upsets me greatly and makes me cry as the wee Dogs and cats are in misery. They are frightened,often in ill health,get no veterinary help in these shelters. The others like us on Care 2 and Pinterest have the upset of these poor dogs And cats in pictures with pleas to adopt,foster or rescue.
SHELTERS should not be called SHELTERS because the majority does not care for the welfare of the animals. People should certainly not be allowed to leave old sick dogs in a Shelter in the first place. If a dog is dumped there should be a serious charged. The owner should either search for a SAFE RESCUE or ADOPTION or FOSTER. Mainly though they owe it to their dog to see their life through till the end. IF THEY DUMP DOGS OR CATS OUTDOORS WITHOUT DOING THIS THERE SHOULD BE A VERY SERIOUS CHARGE OF ABANDONMENT AGAINST THE OWNER.
The law needs to do what normal people do that care about the welfare of their old dog or cat. The dog and cat shows so much loyalty to its owner. The Owner should show the same loyalty to their dog and cat!
I have been with my dogs and cats at the end of their lives and I feel it's the least I can do for the joy they have brought me. Yes it hurts like hell its not just you that hurts its your dog or cat. However just think how a dog or cat feels when it's thrown into a kill shelter or left to fend for itself!
Please help me stop this happening to old Dogs and Cats. They don't deserve this treatment stand by them even if they have to get put to sleep. Just be with them COMFORT THEM ON THEIR FINAL JOURNEY PLEASE I BEG OF YOU!THANK YOU! Bree
Dear First Minister,Prime Minister,President United States and Leaders of United Nations.
I am writing for a law to be passed to stop Older dogs and Cats being dumped into kill
shelters. especially if they are ill. Which they so often are. To me this is heartless and cruel.
The Choices need to be improved for the welfare of these poor dogs, no Shelter should
be able to take a sick dog or cat that needs Vetenary care as in most cases is non existent!
Owners must be held accountable for their Dogs in Sickness and Old Age their must be
a law To stop these Dogs and cats suffering. If it is really, really necessary they should seek a
Rescue, adopter or Foster. Shelters that flout the law should be closed, I think they
should all be closed because they do not care for the animals! They are just a holding
place for these poor, old, sick suffering and bewildered dogs.
It actually breaks my heart to look at the photos of these dogs and cats,some of the dogs even give their owners a paw when they get left. This makes me and many of my caring pet loving people have signed my petition so upset and indeed cry or get that horrid lump in your throat.
The law needs to take this on board.dogs and cats are family,they are loved when they
are young and playful It is the real animal lovers that wouldn't give their old animal away for all the money in the world.
Society today needs to change because this world will not
survive the hateful way people treat animals that believe they are merely Possessions.
If a dog or cat is too ill to keep then it should be taken to the vet. If they are suffering
the owner must take responsibility for the animals welfare even if it means putting
them to Sleep If too sick. They must support the dog or cat. If some people cannot do
the honorable thing. The law needs to make them. They should have a support officer allocated by law if needed or advised.
If the animal has a while to go then again support should be given. To help keep the
animal at home, but at a very hard push they should get them fostered by special
workers that will still give love,care and supportes the animal.
The owner needs to prove its nesessary to give up the animals. The cost of Shelters
would go as the dogs or cats will not go there. They can be closed down and money
that goes the shelter can be used for the humane welfare of the dogs and cats.
Finally anyone found dumping any animal to fend for itself should get a ten year jail
sentence. As well as getting banned from ever owning another animal in their lifetime.
Please help me in these endeavors.
