Light needs to be shed on utilization of Funds for Homeless in the community!!

The look at homelessness has been stated a few times in the past. Alot of people are unaware that there are so many that do not have a residency or stable Employment. With funds such as IMACA, Salvation Army as well as surrounding churches, most have been blinded that the help doesn't always go to where it is stated. Numerous people i know as well as my self have had a stable job in the past and for one reason or another have lost the employment as well as residence, whether it be due to family emergencies, pay-cuts layoffs, or not enough money after bills and necessities have been taken care of. and have been utilizing the Land that surrounds Bishop and the outlining areas. Alot of these lands state no trespassing yet there is no where for any of us to go. Most have been in the camp they had several yrs, others only for the last 7-10 months. Approximately the 10th of October the camp my self as well as a small group of the communities homeless utilize was approached by Department of water and power, we were told by a few of the workers they were not giving us permission to stay but expressed that as long as we cleaned the area and maintained a civil attitude they would not harrass us nor have us removed by law enforcement. They provided us with bags and rakes to clean the area and asked us to carry the bags to the canal. from the 13th of October till the 2nd of December we were not approached and asked to leave. several times we had Sheriff enter the area asking if we were warm enough and if we had everything we needed for the approaching winters icy nights. the morning of December 2nd the camp my self and a small group of us that are in my situation were awoke by sheriff as well as two DWP workers stating that we were to leave. they allowed us three hrs to clean the area and be gone stating that if any of the individuals that were present that morning were found on DWP land we would be arrested. and that we can not even walk along DWP. Within the last 5 days several other small camps have been asked to leave and a few have had there belongings removed without out any notice. With organizations like IMACA and Salvation Army stating to the public they help the homeless, yet when a homeless person or persons enter these programs facilities and express there need for help re situating into a stable living environment, what exactly can we the citizens do. we donate for charitities believeing they will help those that are in need, in stead we are continually told there are numerous programs available on a weekly basis for food and housing help. i know of three place in town that serve a meal and three that donate bags of groceries and supplies to basically camp. the programs that have been available have expressed the need of prior employment. I my self am, on formal probation and having a hell of a time locating work. i have continually hounded numerous jobs here expressing my need for employment. every time i am asked to come back at a later date. others i have been called back in for an initial interview and told i was top of the stack. i never recieved a calll or message to my phone. i even divulged my email to see if they can contact that way and have recieved nothing. I am suprised with the amount of peoplle on this petition so far. it has been available since the second week of this month and there are only 14 Signers. Please......  WE THE PEOPLE....... someone else help me here and shed the light on utilization of funds not honestly going where said.....
