Music is power!!!

In the work area of outgoing mail, we are tasked to perform tedious and repetitive jobs everyday to push mail to the post office. While some jobs are considered simple, the constant repeats and such can weigh heavy on employees. Of the many methods to cope with stress and frustration of these job, music seems to be a most effective way to allow us to better focus on our jobs and endure the constant maintenance that is required to complete said jobs.

We also tend to show a more positive attitude at work while listening to music. it gives workers a sense of peace and serenity when we are stuck with a jam in the machines or we have tears in the mail. History has shown this building that outgoing mail can perform at their peak when they are comfortable and calm. This is ALWAYS the case when we have our music. You will get a lot more energy and willpower to do our jobs if we are enjoying it.

With enough employees to support this, I hope we can come to an understanding of how important music is to us, and how it really makes a difference in our work ethic.
